Date, time and place of birth. With a recent birth the time is usually recorded to the minute, which makes this one of the readings that can be done most precisely.

With particular care. A baby's chart is not read like an adult's: there is no history behind it, so I write about tendencies and terrain, never about what this person is going to be.

I deliberately avoid anything that sounds like a label. A child does not need anything named for them ahead of time.
