The shape of the week
The first half is the talkative part. On the 21st Mercury in Libra sextiles Jupiter in Leo, one of the more useful aspects of the month for negotiating, teaching, writing or pitching an idea. It lends words both fairness and conviction. The one caution is promising more than you can deliver, since Jupiter enlarges confidence along with everything else.
On the 22nd or 23rd, depending on where you are, the Sun enters Libra and marks the equinox. The emphasis shifts from Virgo's sorting and correcting toward relationship, reciprocity and balance. Libra rarely hands out automatic harmony. What it usually does is show you where the balance is off and which agreements need renegotiating.
Then the mood changes. From the 24th onward the Sun closes in on its opposition to Neptune. The air gets softer, foggier, more tired. Certainty about what you want gets harder to hold.
The 26th is the centre of everything. The Sun opposes Neptune late on the 25th or in the small hours of the 26th, depending on your time zone, and trines Pluto a few hours later. The Full Moon in Aries perfects that day, sitting almost exactly on Neptune.
The Aries Full Moon on Neptune
A Full Moon sets the Moon against the Sun. Here that means the Moon in Aries facing the Sun in Libra. The oldest tension in the chart. Aries wants to act, to want, to put itself first. Libra wants to consider the other person, to keep the agreement, to stay fair. The question this lunation raises is not simply you or them, but something closer to how you hold a relationship without abandoning my own will inside it.
What makes this one unusual is Neptune. The Moon perfects the Full Moon within a degree of Neptune in Aries, which softens and complicates the whole thing. Something you have been feeling without being able to name it may finally surface. That is the gift. The risk is mistaking emotional intensity for objective truth, because Neptune blurs exactly that line.
The saving grace is Pluto. The Sun trines Pluto the same morning and the Moon sextiles it, which gives the fog something solid to work with. Underneath the idealisation, Pluto tends to show you the real motive, the actual fear or desire driving the situation. If you can sit with what surfaces for a few days before acting on it, this lunation tends to reveal something worth knowing.
It lands hardest on planets or angles in the first seven degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn.
The aspects underneath
Sun opposite Neptune on the 26th is the dissolving half of the day. It can bring doubt about a decision, idealisation of a person or an agreement, tiredness, a pull to withdraw from noise. It is not a signal to read every ambiguity as a bad omen. Neptune reveals through impression and sensitivity. It asks for time before those impressions become conclusions.
Jupiter forms a minor aspect to Neptune through the middle of the week, a background climate of imagination and wanting to believe that runs for weeks rather than a day. Fertile for creative work, unreliable for judging what is actually possible.
The week ends reactive. On the 27th Mars in the last degree of Cancer squares Chiron in Aries, which tends to catch the wound around self-assertion, the right to act, the difficulty of asking for something directly. Mars is also about to leave Cancer for Leo. Action starts shifting from a defensive, protective mode toward something more visible and expressive.
Where it falls for your rising sign
I count the houses by whole signs, one sign per house from your Ascendant. It is the only method that stays accurate for everybody in a general article. In your own chart under Placidus, which is the system I use in readings, a transit can land in the neighbouring house.
Aries rising. The Full Moon falls in your house 1, opposite the Sun now in your house 7. This is the year's most personal lunation. With Neptune right there, what surfaces is about you and hard to see clearly at once. The pull is between your own will and a relationship that wants consideration. Sit with it before deciding. Mars squaring Chiron touches your house 4 and house 1. The Mercury-Jupiter sextile earlier lands across your house 7 and house 5.
Taurus rising. The Full Moon lands in your house 12, the quiet house. This lunation works below the surface. What surfaces may arrive as a dream, an impression, a fatigue you cannot quite explain. Do not force it into words too fast. Mercury sextile Jupiter opens your house 6 and house 4 earlier in the week, a good window for sorting work and home. The Sun entering your house 6 turns attention toward daily routine and health.
Gemini rising. The Full Moon falls in your house 11, around groups, friendships and shared hopes. Something about where you belong, or a hope you have quietly carried, comes to a head now. Mercury, your ruler, sextiles Jupiter across your house 5 and house 3, which is a genuinely bright window for creative communication. The Sun enters your house 5. Mars squaring Chiron touches your house 2 and house 11.
Cancer rising. The Full Moon in your house 10 puts career and public role in the spotlight, opposite the Sun now entering your house 4 of home. The pull between the two, work against home, is the shape of your week. Mars is in your house 1 all week and squares Chiron. The frustration is physical and close to the bone before Mars leaves for your house 2. This is a demanding week for you specifically.
Leo rising. The Full Moon falls in your house 9, belief and meaning, opposite the Sun entering your house 3. Jupiter in your house 1 receiving the Mercury sextile is a supportive note underneath. The Sun entering your house 3 favours conversation and short-range communication. Mars squaring Chiron touches your house 12 and house 9. A good week for study or writing that then meets an emotional undertow at the weekend.
Virgo rising. The Full Moon lands in your house 8, around shared resources, trust and what runs deep between you and someone else. With Neptune involved, the emotional depths are real but murky. The Sun leaving your house 1 for your house 2 turns attention from yourself toward what you have and value. Mercury sextile Jupiter opens your house 2 and house 12. Mars squaring Chiron touches your house 11 and house 8.
Libra rising. The Full Moon falls in your house 7 of partnership, opposite the Sun now in your house 1. This is the relational question made personal, how much you give to keep a bond against how much you keep for yourself. Neptune on the Moon means a partner may be idealised. Be careful what you conclude this weekend. The Sun entering your house 1 is your annual reset. Mercury sextile Jupiter crosses your house 1 and house 11.
Scorpio rising. The Full Moon opens in your house 6 of daily work and health, opposite the Sun entering your house 12. Venus in your house 1 all week sharpens what you want. Mars squaring Chiron touches your house 9 and house 6. The week's soft, tired quality may show up in your body or your routine, a signal to rest rather than push. Mercury sextile Jupiter crosses your house 12 and house 10.
Sagittarius rising. The Full Moon falls in your house 5, creativity, romance and play, opposite the Sun entering your house 11. Something you want for yourself meets what the group expects. Mars squaring Chiron touches your house 8 and house 5. Mercury sextile Jupiter across your house 11 and house 9 is a bright early-week window for a shared project or a piece of teaching. Saturn and Neptune continue through your house 5. This lunation lands on well-worked ground.
Capricorn rising. The Full Moon in your house 4 puts home and roots opposite the Sun entering your house 10 of career. The pull between the two is the shape of your weekend. With Neptune on the Moon, the home end of it is emotionally charged and hard to read. Mars squaring Chiron touches your house 7 and house 4. Pluto continues in your house 2. Mercury sextile Jupiter crosses your house 10 and house 8.
Aquarius rising. The Full Moon falls in your house 3, communication and the immediate environment, opposite the Sun entering your house 9. Pluto in your house 1 remains the long story under everything this year. The Sun trine Pluto gives you access to real depth this weekend. Mars squaring Chiron touches your house 6 and house 3. Mercury sextile Jupiter crosses your house 9 and house 7.
Pisces rising. The Full Moon lands in your house 2, worth and resources, opposite the Sun entering your house 8. With Neptune, your traditional co-ruler, sitting on this Full Moon in your house 2, the question of what you value and what you are worth is unusually charged for you this week. Saturn and Neptune in your house 2 have been working this ground all year. Mercury sextile Jupiter crosses your house 8 and house 6.
